I've cheated!! When I moved to California, I flew to the end without reading the pages in between. SO! My next adventure is to fill in the gaps from the END of Route 66 (Los Angeles, CA) to the beginning (Chicago, IL) My journey will begin the beginning of January and has no ending date. You will follow my adventure as I snap pictures on the road and discover what it is I am suppose to discover or meet who I am meant to meet on the way. It's in God's hands now. :)

The Temporary income is as follows...

I've been taking the last month to build some sound proof panels and equipment that will be used in the Editing bays and Crest National - a film lab my step father manages.

From complete scratch I saw, hammer/nail, glue, staple, and screw these pieces together to create a masterpiece in the end!

Let me tell you! its some labor some tough work! I LOVE IT!

Yet another trip to the Venice Beach Drum Circle. This time my roommate Katie came with and we made our usual stop at Cabo Cantina on Washington Blvd.
In the attempt to Feed you my daily blogs, I had to come up with something different... so .... I set my camera to a Time-lapse setting so that I could deliver you this video! I hope you enjoy our Beach Car/ Venice Beach trip :)

Long Beach Funk Fest

Riding on the METRO-o-o

I woke up yesterday morning looking for an adventure. It HIT me! Lets hop on the metro and take it to Long Beach! I got my coffee, opened up LA Weekly.. and BAM! first page! Long Beach Funk Fest! I said, "We're Going!"

Its such a beautiful thing to have the freedom to step outside your front door and have the world at your finger tips.

We met some fun and amazing people, great music, great vibe, art, raffles, two stages, a skate board section, and $1 beers!

Will Roger's Beach Day

There is just something about taking a day to the beach.

Sand between your toes, cold jump in the ocean, hot sun on your skin, and a cocktail in hand.

Nathan and I like to make these random trips, I call them adventures :) and this is just one of them...

This is Naters :P...

We stopped at this cute lil Irish restaurant that was painted bright green just next to the liquor store on the PCH. The food was great and the Waitress's were amazing! lol

First of all, we get there with pre-mixed drinks in bottles, however the 100 degree heat caused our coctails to get extremely warm... so we asked for ice water to drink and used the ice to cool off our Jose concoction. Our first waitress had a strange eye on the glass that quickly turned from a clear liquid to a tropical pink! mmm!

Then our second waitress showed up.. looked at us, smiled asked if we wanted more "water" glanced at our smiling baked faces... giggled and said.. "you guys are funny, story of my life". (I liked her too) :P

I cant remember the name of this place, but its pretty easy to find if you just go to Will Roger's Beach!

Venice Beach Drum Circle (Sunday)

So this last weekend I met up with my sis Marcia and her girlfriend with my Naters (Nathan) at Venice Beach Drum Circle. Was so beautiful to step back into the Venice world. The Drum Circle has been going on for years and years and years as tradition.

And then the cops came. They litterally drive out the massive crowd of people all the way back to the boardwalk on Venice.

I love the characters and people you meet, everyone seems to come together to connect with everyone creating a family through music. Truley something amazing!
